Prayer and Witness Network, or PAWN, supplies unique printed Christian witness tools that can be followed up by the giver and the recipient. It is an individual Christian's partnership with the Lutheran Evangelism Association. Personal individual commitment is the key to the success of this method of Christian witness.

The basic printed witness toll of PAWN is the tract "One Love Fits All". This tract, focuses on reaching the non-Christian in an unstructured every day situation by presenting a short capsule of Law and Gospel. It challenges the reader to believe Jesus is their Savior through the power of the Holy Spirit freely given. Visit the One Love Fits All website.

The materials are different from all other printed witness outreaches. The reader can respond (by removing the pages of the tract, the cover becomes a postcard) asking for a course in Christian basics, a New Testament, or a visit by a Christian to discuss the faith.

Pawn Partners are given a personal Department # that they mark on the postcard. This identifies them as the giver. When requests come in for materials, they are sent without cost, and the Pawn Partner is notified so that a personal follow-up can be made. We have no group or congregational partners.

The Waiting Time Digest is another witness tool of PAWN. It is a 72-page secular style quarterly magazine, 80% of which are articles of a general nature, and the remaining 20% have a Christian focus. It also includes postcards that can be sent in for a free basic course in the Christian faith, similar to "One Love Fits All" tracts. The waiting rooms of our land are the target locations for placement of these magazines. Sent free to PAWN partners, four times a year.

Partners are encouraged to read and enjoy it themselves, then leave the digest in a waiting room where many non-Christians may read it. The Gospel seed can be planted in many different ways!

Suggestions:

• Don't make an issue of leaving the magazine in a waiting room; many people leave magazines they finish, to share with those who follow them.

PAWN Partners receive this publication free of charge. It is published quarterly when possible.

The suggested donation, for non-partners, for an annual subscription is $15.00 U.S. To request a subscription, please fill out our contact form.
