The Lutheran Evangelism Association
is an independent, non-profit organization, serving primarily
Lutherans, but is willing to help any Christian who asks for
our assistance. (See the Lutheran Annual, LCMS)
We do this by sharing ways that the faith
can be communicated in simple ways by words, actions, and the
printed word.
If you have ever said, "I'm
too shy to talk about my faith or to witness", then the tract
ministry may be for you! It's designed for those
who feel they could never serve on an Evangelism Team ... but
want to witness and be prepared to witness in every
day situations.
Another way we serve is by supplying
unique printed Christian witness tools, in particular the "One
Love Fits All" tract, that can be followed up by the
giver and the recipient through our Prayer
And Witness
Network, or PAWN.
Once Lutheran Christians recognize,
through the power of the Holy Spirit that it is God's will that
we all share our faith, we come to Him for the power to do so.
The motivation and the power to organize our outreach efforts
must come from the same source, His Holy Spirit. He uses our
individual talents and gifts to do the task.
The work of the Lutheran Evangelism
Association has been commended by leaders, both past and present,
in the Lutheran Church such as Dr. Gerald Kieschnick, Dr. Donald
Muchow, Dr. Alvin Barry, Dr. Glen O'Shoney, Dr. John Warwick
Montgomery, Dr. Wally Schulz, Dr. John Johnson, Dr. Eugene Bunkowske,
Rev. Jerry Kosberg, Dr. Rich Bimler, Dr. Victor Raj, Dr. John
Muench, and many others.
